Health & Meditation Balls

Chinese health or meditation balls were originally made in Song Dynasty (960-1127AD) and were used in martial arts and later by the emperor family. The sound the two balls make as they ram together are said to be the sounds of the roaring dragon and singing phoenix.
They are good for improving physical conditions and relaxing your mind. When used consistently everyday, you can see improvements in your circulation & stress relieve. The balls can also be used as a massage tool, pressing them onto your palms or feet or rolling them around your neck and shoulders.
Directions: Place both balls on your palm. With the ball always in contact with each other, practice rotating them with the help of your fingers, either clockwise or counter-clockwise. It is easier to use smaller ones at first and then move up to the larger sizes. Gradually experiment with increased speed. A more advanced exercise is to rotate them without letting them touch each other.
